"Truth or Dare"
One
Allura and Lance were in the lush and beautiful forests of the planet Clymaldis. The other Voltron Force members were at other sectors of the planet looking up leads to the whereabouts of the two GG archelogists who had disappeared from here a week ago. Allura and Lance were on their way to their rendevouz point. At first, Keith had wanted Allura with him, but the princess said that for a change she wanted to go with Lance.
This suprised and pleased the ladies man of the Voltron Force. It wasn't often that he got to be with the Princess alone. Keith had warned Lance to keep an eye on Allura, for it was rumored that there were Doom solders about. Clymaldis was a neutral planet, supposedly, but that didn't stop Doom from stepping in when they wanted.
Lance and Allura were in disguise. They wore the native costumes of the working class. Lance wore a simple blouse, rough pants and boots. Allura wore a mid length skirt, a short sleeved blouse and some comfortable shoes. She also wore a long scarf to hide her distinctive blond hair which would have stood out, for all the working class had dark hair. They tramped along the forests, which Lance was familar with, for he had once been stationed here some years ago, and knew the culture and this area of the planet well. Allura sighed and Lance said, "You getting tired, Princess? We can rest.." Allura said, "No, it's not that..it just seems like this forest never ends.." Lance said, "Well, at least it's pretty." Allura said, "Umm, yeah..smells wonderful too.." Lance slowed down and walked beside her. He said, "Yeah, it does. I went on many a date here.." Allura smiled and said, "I just bet you chased all the girls, Lance.." Lance grinned knowingly and said, "Why, of course princess..all girls love to be chased!" Allura tossed her head and said, "Well, I don't!"Lance sneered and said, "Oh come off it, Allura! You're lying! All girls love it when they've got some guy chasing them! Its makes them feel special! I mean look at you and Lotor-" She cut him off and said, "Lotor! Are you kidding? I would be glad if he stopped chasing me!!" Lance shook his head as he ducked under a tree branch. "Uh uh..you wouldn't..you'd wonder why he stopped doing it. "Member when he "married" Merla? You were all distracted. You missed that big smurfhead chasing you! Why I bet if you kissed him, you'd like it!!" Allura stopped and said hotly, "I would not!" Lance said with a smirk, "Me thinks the lady protests too much!!" Allura blushed and said, "Well, I wouldn't worry about it - I wouldn't go near him anyway!" Lance laughed. He loved getting her riled. She was so cute!!
They walked on and Allura saw to her delight, a clump of beautiful white long stemmed flowers. Allura said, "Oh look! They're beautiful ! " She went to them and sniffed them. "Oh, they smell wonderful! I wonder if I could take one?" Lance shrugged and said, "Take as many as you want, Allura. They don't belong to anyone.." For some reason, Lance felt uneasy about those flowers she picked. There was something he had heard about them once, but he couldn't remember what. Allura picked the flowers and smiled. "These would be wonderful to transplant in my garden - if they survive this trip! " She inhailed deeply of the flowers again and sighed in pleasure. She placed the flowers carefully in the bag she was carrying and they went on. Lance was worried that perhaps those flowers were like the deadly ones that witch Hagar had placed on Arus, but so far Allura didn't seem to be having any problems. In fact, she seemed to be downright happy.
They came to a narrow path and Lance turned into it, gesturing for Allura to follow him. She smiled and followed him. Lance had the feeling that he was being watched and he turned around and said, "Allura, what's the matter?" She smiled and looked pointedly at his rear. "Boxers or briefs?" Then she giggled wildly. Lance was shocked. Of all the things to say!! Lance turned to her and said, "Allura, are you all right?" She giggled and said, "Of course, Lancie! I'm all right..." Then she put her arms around his neck and kissed him full on the lips! Now normally, Lance didn't mind this sort of thing from a woman, but this was Princess Allura! ..oh man! she kisses nice!!..
They walked a little ways and Lance looked back at Allura and did a double take. She had her top unbuttoned!!
They hadn't gone far when he heard Allura scream! Lance turned around and didn't see her. Then he heard peals of laughter. He went a couple of steps and almost fell into an old Croath trap. He saw Allura on her rear end, just laughing away. Lance got on the ground and reached out his hand. "Allura, here's my hand, grab it! I'll pull you up!!"
His thoughts were interrupted by a familar voice."Well, look what we've caught!"
She was at the edge of the opening, so he reached down and took her in his strong arms and hauled her up. He expected her to fight him but to his suprise, she didn't. He thought,..maybe she's accepted me at last! He set her down and held her by the waist, mesmerized as always by her.
Lance's wrists were tied up securely and the guards held their blasters on him. To his horror, Allura did exactly what he was afraid she'd do..
Allura looked into Lotor's eyes and said softly, "Lotor.." Lotor was suprised by her soft tone of voice. Usually, she was snapping or angry at him. He said, "Yes, my sweet?" Lance was shoved forward by the guards and thought of an idea - it was a long shot, but it might work for time. He yelled, "Princess, you're getting married! Every bride's gotta have flowers!!"
Lance was tied to a post in the encampment which was set up in a clearing. Lotor's star cruiser was there along with some smaller fighters. Evidently, this Doom mission was secretive as well. Lance saw the two archelogists alive and looking unharmed. Lance was able to find out from them that Zarkon wanted the ancient artifact that they had found in their diggings here. The artifact was believed to amplify a person's power, mentally, physically and spiritually. The archelogists feared that perhaps Witch Hagar would find a dark purpose for it and use it against the Alliance. Lance assured them that the Voltron Force would find them and would prevent Zarkon from taking the artifact. Lance was sure that when he and Allura didn't reach their rendevouz point, Keith and the others would search for them using the small beacons that were placed hidden in their clothes. Lance saw Lotor carry the princess into the encampment triumphantly, and set her down gently at a chair next to a folding table and he sat beside her.
She laughed and said, "You did! You did!" She whirled around and then wrapped her arms around his waist and smiled. "You're cute , Lancie..Lancelot.." and then she giggled and said, "And boy you use your lance a lot!!"
She laughed uproariously and Lance stood there freaking out. Allura never said stuff like that! Him, yes. Her never! Suddenly, Lance remembered about those flowers she picked. They were called locally the "Drunkard's Flower", because if you inhaled their fragrance, you would basically become drunk for a time, then later you would sleep, hence the name.
..Oh no..she's kissing me again..ohgod..hard to concentrate.. He pulled away from her and said, "Allura, we have to go now.." She pouted again and said, "Oh..ok..Lancie, if you say so.."
Lance breathed a sigh of relief. Now if he could keep her out of trouble until the stuff wore off, she would be okay.
Lance stopped quickly and said, "Allura! Your top! " She looked down and pouted. "I was hot, Lancie!! Isn't it hot to you?"
Lance quickly buttoned her top up, trying very hard not to look down and said, "You need to keep your top on, Allura..uh there are uh-BIG moquitoes here!"
Allura looked at him and said, "You're just no fun, Lancie..but I don't want no skeeters biting me..so.." She unbuttoned the top button and said, "See, Lancie..I'll be good.." To his delight and horror, she draped herself on him and whispered., "I'll be really good, Lancie.." She gave him a french kiss which drove him crazy.
He thought, ..if I told anyone of this, they'd never believe me!!..Again, he pulled away and disengaged her arms.
He said, "Okay, princess, let's go. The sooner we get to where we're going, the sooner you can get cooled off.."
To his relief, she smiled at him and said, "Okay, Lancie darling.."
Allura got up unsteadily and said, "You come down here, Lancie!" Lance shook his head and said, "Allura, you gotta come up.." then he added as an incentive, "if you come up here, I'll let you kiss me again.."
Her eyes lit up and she said, "Really, Lancie-poo? " Lance winced at that and said, "Yes, sweetheart, I will.."
She laughed and said, "It's a done deal, homie!!" She reached for his hand when suddenly, her legs collasped under her as the ground gave way. She screamed and pulled Lance in with her! He fell on top of her, and she just kept laughing uproariously.
Lance quickly got up from that particularly compromising position and winced as his right wrist gave under him. It felt like a sprain or perhaps a fracture, but he wasn't sure. Allura kept laughing, tears running down her face. Lance turned and thought,..how the heck were they going to get out? Perhaps he could boost Allura up..
Lance looked up and saw the handsome and arrogant Prince Lotor standing above the trap with some Doom guards. He said gloatingly, "Looks like I've caught two peasants!!"
Lance thought, ..good, so far he doesn't recognize us..But then, to his dismay, Allura swept her scarf off her head and tossed her hair. She looked up and recoginized Lotor.
She smiled and said, "It's smurfhead!!!"
Lotor instantly recognized the Princess and said, "Allura, my love!!"
She smiled, and said, "That's my name, don't wear it out!" She giggled again and the prince frowned. What was wrong with her?
He glanced down at Lance and said, "If she's here, then you must be one of the Voltron Force! You are--"
Allura cut him off with a singsong voice, "He's Lance Lancelot and he uses his lance a lot!!" She laughed again and said, "Well he does!"
Lotor shook his head. It didn't matter what seemed to be wrong with her. He would take advantage of this unforeseen opportunity. He barked at the guards, 'Take him out and tie him securely." Lotor smiled down at the princess and said, "I will get my lovely bride out myself.."
She smiled saucily and leaned up against him. "Boxers or briefs!!" She giggled at the puzzled look on his face and then she said, "Is that your blaster or are you just happy to see me?" Before the startled prince could say anything, Allura wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him long and passionately.
She broke away as Lotor stood there in a daze and she said to Lance, "You're right, Lance I do like kissing him!!" She looked at Lotor again, and said, "No..I don't think you wear anything under there!! " She giggled and Lotor was stunned. It was as if she were drunk! He smiled to himself and thought that he could really take advantage of this situation. She had never been so willing to be with him!!
He barked at the guards holding Lance and said, "Take him to the encampment! He'll keep until my father comes!" Lance said, 'You better not lay a hand on the princess, Lotor..the Voltron Force.."
The prince, still holding Allura, said, "Ha! As if they could stop me! I have who you're looking for, "Lancie".."He said his name contempously. "And by the time they come, my beautiful princess and I will be wed! Take him!"
Lotor smirked and said, "Why of course! Thank you! " He motioned to another guard. "There was a clump of flowers back there a ways - Pick them and make sure they're not crushed! My bride must have a perfect bouquet!!" He turned to Allura and said, "Isn't that right, my love?"
She smiled and said, "Whatever you say, Smurfie!!" Lotor thought, ..Smurfie?.. shrugged, lifted her in his arms and headed back to his encampement.
Allura pouted a little and said, "What you don't like me anymore, Lotor?"
The prince looked suprised and said, "Why, Allura! How could you think of such a thing?"
She got up, smiled and said, "Oh..I don't know.." To his utter suprise, she sat down in his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck and said, "Are ya gonna make a woman out of me..Smurfie?" She traced a line on his mouth and smiled. Lotor didn't know whether to be delirously happy or shocked! Whatever was affecting her, affected her for the better!! Before Lotor could say anything in reply, the guard came back with the flowers.
To Lotor's dismay, Allura got up and said, "Oh, look, it's those wonderful smelling flowers!! " She grabbed a handful from the guard and went towards Lance. "Look Lancie! Wanna smell my flowers?' She giggled and Lance shook his head no. Allura tossed her head and said, "Well, just be that way, Lancie!! " She turned towards Lotor and said archly, "Lotor will smell them, won't you, sweetheart?" She went over and to Lotor's delight, she sat in his lap again with the flowers in her hand and she said, "You won't be mean, will you Smurfie?"
Lotor kissed her gently and said, "Of course not, my sweet..I would never deny anything to you.."
She ran her hand along his chest and she said, "You're so nice..not like mean Lancie.." She kissed him again and he was very tempted to just take her into the cruiser, when suddenly she broke away and stuck a flower in his face. She said, "Okay, now smell this..it's nice!!" Lotor smiled. He would indulge his darling.
He said, "All right, I will smell the pretty flower, but you'll have to kiss me after.."
Allura's eyes lit up and said, "It's a deal!!" Lotor took the flower and inhaled deeply. Hmm..it did smell nice. It would be perfect when they wed shortly - as soon as his blasted father and Hagar got here, that is. Lance smiled. ...He went for it! Now, hopefully they won't uh- do what comes naturally before the rest of the guys get here.
