Aden: Showdown Part I
Allura ran, her breaths coming in gasps. She had to get to safety, but where? She knew Zarkon would be on her trail. She couldn't count on Lotor. Tears fell from her eyes, blurring her vision. She should have known. She should have known! Lotor hadn't changed. He was still a selfish, self-serving bast-
"AAAAAIEEEEEEE!!!- umph! umph!" Allura screamed as she was suddenly grabbed by someone who instantly clamped a hand over her mouth!
"Relax!" Lotor hissed in her ear. "It's me, Lotor!"
Immediately, Allura bit hard into Lotor's palm!
"OW! You - little - come back!!" Lotor was livid as his dark blue blood ran down his fingertips.
Lotor had another scream and ran towards it. As he pushed through the sparse foilage, he saw Allura.
And just like in his nightmares, his father held Allura by the throat, choking her.

"Damn..."Chip and Pidge both cursed.
"Let's try this...."
"Mousehole!" crowed Pidge. "You owe me, Chipparoo!"
"Where?" Chip asked."Jeez, 5th vector, strata...and that was supposed to be -"
"Unsinkable, like the Titanic? C'mon, Chip. Let's clean house."
To his teammates, the Green Lion pilot said, "We're in...'scuse me while we 'fix' Amalgamus. Chip, try to stay in contact! Tell Hawkins Voltron will be there to assist as soon as we get the princess!"
"Hunk, take over com-helm for Pidge." Keith nodded, agreeing with Pidge's judgement.
"Gotcha." Hunk replied.
"Pidge?" Keith asked. "No problem, Keith. I taught him everything he knows! Chip?"
"Roger that, bro. We gone but not forgotten. Out."
"Let's Go, Voltron Force!" Sven's voice reverberated through Voltron's coms.
"Hell YEAH!!" Lance grinned maniacally.
Aden: Showdown Part II
"Let her GO!" Lotor yelled at his father.
"You DARE order me about, whelp?" He tightened his hold on Allura. "Want to see her die at my hand, my misbegotten son?"
Allura was trying to pry Zarkon's fingers from her neck, but they were like steel bands - she couldn't loosen them!
"I said, let her go, Zarkon..." Lotor hissed. "She is but a woman."
WHAT!!?? Allura thought through her haze.
"Eh?" Zarkon loosened his grip upon Allura - enough so that she could breathe.
"What could you prove by killing a woman? Nothing! Let her go. Here's your chance, 'Father.' Destroy me - the thorn in your side." Lotor smirked.
Zarkon suddenly flung Allura to the side like a rag doll. She lay there on the ground, gasping for air, enraged at both Zarkon and Lotor. Then Lotor silently mouthed to her: "VOLTRON..."
wha --?
"Here, whelp." Zarkon tossed one of his shortblade weapons. "Never let it be said that I killed a defenseless man - even a criminal like yourself!" Zarkon laughed heartily. "I no longer *need* you, Lotor. You're a liability, like your mother and your sister before you!"
"You talk too much, old man!" With that, Lotor ran towards Zarkon, the very fires of Hell in his eyes.
Allura was at a loss until she - heard something familiar...
A distress beacon?
"Hey, Cap! Distress signal at 4.05 vector a0a." Hunk was trying to compensate for Pidge - he knew his little buddy's work on the 'Tin Man'(Amalgamus) was important, really important for the sake of entire Alliance!
"Lion mode!" Keith commaned as they drew near the surface of Aden. Voltron changed into the five lion. The first thing that Keith did was pick up Allura, who had been in a clearing just beyond where Zarkon and Lotor fought.
The first thing Allura said when she rushed into Black Lion was...
"Keith, we MUST save Lotor! Zarkon will kill him!"
Privately, Keith thought that they should let Zarkon and Lotor kill each other off, but this he didn't mention to Allura. Maybe he heard her wrong.
"Allura...are you su - " Keith started to ask.
"Yes, I'm SURE! It was LOTOR who set the beacon, not me! I don't know how he knew you were coming, but he did! He didn't run away to leave me, but to save me!
"All right, Princess. I believe you." Keith finally said, "Let's do it."
