Aden: Deadly Intent
Zarkon smirked evily as his cloaked ship approached Aden, his late wife's homeworld. If it was anything like he remembered, Aden would still be sparsely populated - if at all. While he had murdered his wife and daughter, his small fleet killed much of the populace, with the survivors ending up as slaves. It hadn't taken much firepower at all, for Aden had been a peaceful planet.
Now years later, he had returned to 'capture' his son and that foolish princess, dead or alive. He would bring back the two wanted criminals back to Galaxy Garrison - just in time to 'save' the Galaxy Alliance.
Galaxy Garrison HQ...
Amalgamus felt 'odd' - or about as a being could 'feel'. He had ran diagnostics over and over again, but found nothing - no viruses, no abnormalities. Everything was running as it programed. His temporary aide,Queequeg - who was like himself, a non-organic, verified that there were no abbrations within his internal mainframe. Yet -
Aden: Change In The Blink Of An Eye: Redux
Allura awakened first, and without thinking, kissed Lotor gently on the lips.
"Wake up, sleepyhead..." She murmured, a soft smile on her face. For some reason, Allura felt - good - around Lotor. She wasn't angry nor afraid. Perhaps it was because they had opened up to each other, and had related to themselves as people - a man and a woman, two souls being bared, an act more intimate than physical lovemaking.
Lotor opened his eyes and smiled up at Allura, reaching to stroke her dishevled hair.
"Good morning, my love..." Lotor murmured. "If I never saw you again in this life again, I would take that kiss of yours to my grave."
Allura blushed. "I - uh - didn't mean to - uh."
"Yes, you did, my little sprite." Lotot raised himself up and promptly hit his head on the top of the bunk.
"Ow, vaardath fuge'agr!" He cursed in Drule, rubbing his head.
"Lotor, are you all right?" Allura got up, concerned. "I've never heard that kind of Drule before! Let me see your head - you hit it pretty hard."
"I hope you never know what it means, Allura." Lotor said as he sat back down on the lower bunk so that Allura could check his injury."I'm sure I'm all right. I've taken wor - hey."
"You've got a nice lump forming, Lotor...what?" Allura asked.
"I - I can see!" Lotor focused his golden eyes upon her.
There. Zarkon had found them. By now, his plan was in motion - perhaps sooner than he had planned, but he knew everything would work out perfectly. His troops were ready, Queequeg had done something right for once and had readied Amalgamus. En route to this godsforsaken planet, Hagar had finally contacted him. The old hag and the Drule Supremacy troops were waiting within the Dream Dimension for the attack. Any moment now..."

Suddenly all systems within Amalgamus went haywire, affecting not only Galaxy Garrsion but most of the 900 planets of the Alliance. There was no power. Ships malfunctioned, those in flight crashed, careening into the planets they were nearest. Communications ceased as Amalgus shut the entire Net down.
It was Chaos.
But then, at the 'signal' from Amalgamus, the Second Fleet of Doom attacked Galaxy Garrison.
They needed Voltron - desperately.
