The Last Astrokight - Eight

Once Lucifer guided them in, Lotor was amazed. Instead of a rough rocky cave, he saw a modern living space which consisted of a living space, a dining area and what looked to be a small kitchen. He saw that even Lucifer, at his great height, could easily walk through. There were other openings within the cave which he wanted to see, given his curiosity. Two things stopped the Prince however. One was where to stable Lucifer.

Eau de horsesh'iite was something he didn't care to partake in.

Two, he had a sleeping princess leaning against him.

"Lucifer, hold."

Lotor said lowly as he slid off the massive horse. He caught the exhausted princess in his arms and carried her, placing her gently upon the long couch that was against the wall. Making sure she was comfortable, Lotor went to inspect the other 'rooms' of the cave. He was quick about it, knowing he needed to tend to Lucifer.

As he went on, he saw a light up ahead. When he reached it, he saw that light was of the same rainbow hue as the entrance had been. Cautiously, he passed through it, expecting to see the craggy rocks that were in the area.

Instead he saw what appeared to be a small pasture with a longhouse made of stone in the center of it, a crystal clear pond nearby

"By the gods, what this place?" Lotor's saffron-gold were wide like a wondering child's.

He ran back to his horse and led him back to the pasture opening, divesting the loyal animal of his tack. Already the horse seemed excited, moving about restlessly. Lotor smiled a genuine smile at seeing Lucifer act like a newly released foal.

"Go on, Luc..." Lotor laughed. "Go and - uh - frolic."

The horse nickered, and with a toss of his immense head, galloped out into the pasture, investigating this new world.

Lotor laughed again, clearly amused. "If he finds feed out there, I'll - "

"You'll what?" A soft voice said behind him. Lotor whirled around only to find Allura up and about. Resisting the urge to order her back to the couch, he asked, "What is this place? "

Allura decided that since she was in his company, she might as well be a little cooperative. Resisting only made him - and her angry, which would accomplish nothing.

Besides she had questions of her own that he could perhaps answer. Unspoken ones.

"From the look of it, a rural ecosystem..." Allura looked thoughtful. 'My father was always experimenting - creating viable living ecosystems in places where they wouldn't normally survive.

"But in a cave?"

Allura shrugged. "Maybe my father knew the future of Arus...knew that you and your father would rape and destroy this planet and it's people."

Her blue eyes flashed with anger, forgetting about being civil to the alien prince.

Lotor's eyes narrowed. "Only those of superior strength survive, my dear. The weak are winnowed out - it's quite logical. Your resistance to what is right in front of your captivating eyes has only made your people suffer more. They would be more useful as tenant subjects of the Doom Imperium than the lowly slaves they are. The ones left on this planet are little better, hiding like frightened rabbits."

"Hah!! We'll NEVER give up!" The rebellious princess retorted, crossing her arms over her chest. He saw her wince in pain even though her arms were nowhere near her injury.

"Lie down." Lotor said curtly.

"Why should I?" Allura spat.

Lotor's eyes narrowed. He was used to his commands being obeyed. Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind that he needed to be gentle with her - not cruel. It was an idea that had never entered his mind before - at least with the human females.

Lotor enjoyed instilling fear in his women, eventually breaking their defenses. A bonus (which was more often than not) was when he and his prize would share their mutual pleasure, shaming his partner afterwards. It worked well after that, for those nameless women would go into his 'Gold Harem' - which was comprised of beautiful blond haired human women. Other women illfortuned to have different hues of skin and hair did not excite him as much. They went into his father's harem to please the old king in whatever manner he saw fit.

But this woman was different. She was - precious. He didn't wish to be cruel at all.

Aloud, Lotor said, "Because you're obviously in pain."

"Pain which YOU obviously inflicted!" Allura countered.

The Prince felt a flash of anger, but his tone of voice hid his emotion, although his thoughts kept on.

Pain YOU inflicted upon yourself, Princess! Trying to fight as a warrior, when you're obviously suited for another profession...

Not as a whore...her blood is royal...as is mine...

"Yes." Prince Lotor nodded. "Now please lie down."

Something in his voice told Allura that her captor's concern was genuine, so with a sigh, she laid back down upon the couch.

A cool hand was upon her forehead.

"You have a fever...I must get the rest of your - costume off."

"No! Please! Don't rape me!" Allura was afraid, misreading his intentions.

"Rape you? Please. Even I have my standards. I don't force myself on sick women. Now be still!"

After tussling with the princess' attire, Lotor finally got the heavy woolen leg coverings off, leaving his fair princess in the thin shift she wore. A maiden's shift surely, but one that been shortened to mid-thigh. It was obvious to Lotor that the Princess had altered it for her ill-fitting Astroknight uniform.

Trying not to look at the curves of her body was difficult, but he placed a light sheet he had found within upon the now sleeping princess.

She needs something to cool her down...water... Lotor thought anxiously.

He went to the kitchen area, expecting to find nothing, when he found a container with ice and water within it. It was fresh, clean and clear.

Odd...this place. It seems to anticipate your very need. His brows furrowed as he carried the container back to where the Princess lay, her face flushed.

Lotor looked down at her still face, as he dipped a cloth into the container.

He gently daubed at her face, finally folding it and placing upon her forehead.

Random thoughts assailed Lotor, as he kept watch over her.

"Your father - had to have been a god to create this! That would explain - you." His voice was a whisper. "A goddess - my goddess - my Queen!"

Yes. He would have her as his bride, his Queen, his goddess! That was why she was so different, so intriguing!

And yet she was as a mortal. Why? Was she and her father cast out of the Heavens to retain some semblance of godhood but live as mortal?

It didn't matter if she were goddess or mortal, the Princess - no, Allura - would be his.
